What will never cease to amaze me is how this government spends billions of dollars a month, waging two wars to keep terrorists from getting into the country, while it systematically and slowly kills it's citizens from within.

It's never completely over. Afghanistan has been ongoing for years. Those pentagon generals need a constant state of war to test their stream of new weapons. That is all war really is these days, just another way for generals and admirals to play with their toy soldiers. Iraq was an excuse by the Bush administration for Bush to get a monopoly on his oil stocks. And some other flimsy excuse will be manufactured for the next war, which will happen soon since Afghanistan is getting too predictable.
