I hope that some Republicans come on board.

Actually it is a requirement that they come on board for this bill to move to the Senate because they have the majority.

Re: 2011 unemployment extension for 99ers - has dozens of co-sponsors in House

Called and emailed last Friday; Representative Lipinski, Senator Durbin, and Senator Kirk from Illinois last week. All the staffers on the phone knew nothing about H.R. 589 but will leave my message. No one has called their offices and asked them to support the bill.

I am calling all the 99ers in Illinois; please do your part, call, email or fax. Senator Kirk is a Republican who could care less about the poor. He supported the tax cut for the rich but not the extension for the 99ers. He will be the difficult one to get the support we need. Please do your part!

Repubs. are not going to say for or against until it hits floor. If it hits!
Then its going to be very long odd's. Especially if it proposed as emergency!

I didn't say hopeless! 45/55%
