Sen. Lembke Under Fire For Comments About The Unemployed

"A St. Louis County state senator who criticized
Missouri's long-term unemployed for "...stealing from their neighbors"
stood by those remarks in an interview with Fox 2. "

" During the filibuster, Lembke said on the Senate floor, "People need to
get off their backside and get a job. Maybe they'll have to take two
jobs or three jobs to make ends meet. But they need to quit stealing
from their neighbors."

MUST see the video! The Senator stands behind his comments. If anyone wants to contact the Senator
here is the email Jim.Lembke@house.mo.gov

There was a time, not that long ago, if you were down on your luck, your neighbors would be there with a helping hand. I guess that is not the case in his, or their gated communities. I would love to see him walk down an average street in America and spout that crap! Heck I'd even sacrifice a few of my homegrown tomatoes (not ready yet) if he'd walk down mine.
