How to deal with an overweight pet Empty How to deal with an overweight pet

I have 2 cats that are not siblings. One practices self-moderation when it comes to food. The other, well, she thinks that she is a dog and wolfs down her food and is always hovering not too far from the food bowl. Winter is the season when she gains most of her weight. I try to moderate her food by creating a separate enclosure where the other kitty can eat freely. I want both of them to live to a ripe old age so I have got to do some moderating myself and be persistent. Smile
