Re: Job boards for those over 50
Anyone got a job/income from any of these "over 50" websites?
I looked at a few and wanted to work on the ones that seem to work.
Bottom line, it does eat up your time having to JOIN them(lol)
Thanks,

No I haven't had any luck so far. I gotten 2 calls from Staffing Agencies but nothing from the 50+ Job boards. Stay positive!!!

Same here, no luck with any of them! I'm 60+ and have lost all of my positivity as far as job searching goes! Still doing it though, although it is just an exercise in futility and keeps me busy until my retirement in October. After that, just part time or consulting work for me, if there is anything around. If not, at least there will be some income coming in soon.

Staffing Agencies
Hi Patriot:
When you say "Staffing Agencies" are you referring to "Temporary Work Agencies?"
Thanks for the feedback

Being 60+
Hi requete:
If you don't mind me asking how long have you been looking for a job?
I will be 53 in September and got laid off in 2008. I was fortunate to get unemployment until 2010 and had savings to supplement it as you know those payments are not enough to live on(lol).
CONGRATS on your upcoming retirement in October - you EARNED it
What type of consulting work are you looking into?
It seems that is the way to go after retirement and even before.

Any more over 50 job sites?
Anyone has any more over 50 job sites to add to this list? I am starting to work through this list and keeping my fingers crossed in the process. I will be age 53 in September and open to any other suggestions. Thanks!
