them, Americans strongly oppose some of the major remedies under
consideration, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.""The
survey finds that Americans prefer to keep Medicare just the way it is.
Most also oppose cuts in Medicaid and the defense budget. More than
half say they are against small, across-the-board tax increases combined
with modest reductions in Medicare and Social Security benefits. Only
President Obama’s call to raise tax rates on the wealthiest Americans
enjoys solid support

Entitlement cuts are not the answer to the budget deficits. Making sure the top 2% pay their fair share of taxes is a much better idea.

Lack of Revenue-what the Government takes in in Taxes-is the real problem, not Spending cuts. Big business, the Rich and Powerful, and our Multi-national Corporations have been getting away with not paying their fair share of Taxes for years. Cutting entitlements is not the answer. Making the Companies who have off-shored all of our jobs to pay their far share Is
