I don't know if it's just me but it seems like they are trying to prime the pump with stories ( reasons )why UE will be increasing to hide the fact that we are not recovering....

Because as we all know it is soooooo UNEXPECTED......

Thanx QH for this article. Scary stuff.

Let me get this straight.....according to Bernanke the Fed *cannot do anything to REDUCE* longterm unemployment.....but on the other hand the Fed apparently *can & does INCREASE* longterm unemployment?? Evil or Very Mad

Quantitative Easing = More Bailouts for the Banksters (now that the Fed has been buying all those treasury bonds from the Big Banks at inflated prices.....one hopes the Fed won't turn around afterwards & sell them back to the Banks at fire-sale prices but they probably will) Suspect

Golf--this quote's for you!!
On Wednesday, the Fed forecast unemployment to average 8.4 to 8.7 percent during the last three months of this year, then falling to 7.6 to 7.9 percent during the fourth quarter of 2012.
