The Media Has Abandoned Covering The Nation's Massive Unemployment Crisis
But if there's a cross-section of America that's blind to this crisis,
it's those who ply their trade in Washington and the people who doggedly
follow them around with steno pads and frantically scribble down
whatever dribbles from their mouths. And here, the media has maintained
an upside down and backward viewpoint on the crises that grip our
nation. That massive unemployment problem? The media has this pegged as a problem that solely impacts the relative reelection hopes of politicians.

Re: The Media Has Abandoned Covering The Nation's Massive Unemployment Crisis
Big surprise? No. The media, government and most americans have forgot or don't care about us. Why?. To the media we're old news, hard to keep us in that 24/7 news cycle. News today (sad to say) is entertainment and they know people don't want to see the same thing every night. Our government is corrupt and greedy and is just doing what they think they need to do to get reelected and make the rich richer (and the poor poorer) and that is all. And the people of the USA (Unemployed States of America) are scared. The reason is I think they are afraid is they will be next, miss one check and your homeless like me.

yes they have forgotten us, everyone has because reality has hit the government.
The Obama plan would have worked great 20 years ago we would be booming.Even he didnt get it at first.

if you follow that you will see the sad reality, The american recovery act, made people buy american stuff ,for everything they use the money on.Great idea by the way! The amount of wavers they are having to get because "we dont make it anymore is huge" They cant even buy cars that can pass the made in USA requirements.
The best thing is there is a waver for exsesive cost,so if an american product costs to much. They can buy a foreign product.Thats what got us into this mess.We all no the american one cost more. The sad part is if its to expensive for the government and they dont buy it no one else will and that company is going to close making it worse.
The main steam media isnt going to cover anything. They are owned by the Corperations people WAKE UP! Anyone notice how all the news people we grew up with are gone?
