Obama to GOP: End Tax Breaks for Millionaires and Oil Companies
I am sorry to say this but what about the farm subsidies, foreign aid, etc. that's receiving millions of dollars. The war is a big joke also. Millions of dollars are being wasted but not addressed. At least, Obama is stepping in the right direction but more cuts that GOPs hate to address must be placed on the table.

Unfortunately I don't see those cuts happen because both parties refuse to. I just have a bad feeling taxes for everyone will be raised.

Re: Obama to GOP: End Tax Breaks for Millionaires and Oil Companies
Did you see his speech earlier today? Although it could have been a little more forceful, he did draw the line:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43575197/ns/politics-white_house/
I know it isn't much, but let's hope this is just the beginning of the President finally putting his foot down and standing up to Congress.
He said Republicans, in blocking a deal on raising the debt limit,
were threatening U.S. financial stability. It is an "unsustainable"
position, he said, for them to continue blocking an end to tax breaks
for "millionaires and billionaires."
"If you are a wealthy CEO ... your taxes are lower than they've ever
been," said Obama. He said if certain tax cuts were eliminated, "You can
still afford to ride on your private jet, you're just going to have to
pay a little more."
The president said members of Congress needed to stay in Washington
until budget negotiations are finished — even if it means canceling
other plans back home. Obama said that while lawmakers have been taking regular recesses,
he's been in Washington working and challenged lawmakers to "stay here"
and "get it done."
"At a certain point," Obama said of congressional leaders, "they need
to do their job." He added: "They're in one week, they're out one week
... They need to be here."

Give 'em Hell, Barry! It's about time. In fact, it's long overdue.
