IL Senate Bill 1565 (Raises the minimum wage)
IL Senate Bill 1565 (Raises the minimum wage)
I just found out about this bill and sent emails to my State Senate and also both IL US Senates in D.C. This should be strongly considered nationwide to help those that are struggling to survive on minimum wage and those on the Job Training programs because they couldn't find employment. The Labor Dept has to cut 25% due to the Budget Cuts taking place and now certain social service programs are being CUT as well because of this. This may be the way to go to offset these cuts. IL SB 1565. So far Illinois is the only state I could find that has this in progress!
