Petitions with the signatures of 1.3 million OHIO voters were delivered to the OHIO State Capitol as required to put on November's ballot a question whether to overturn the law recently passed by the state legislature & signed by the governor to remove the collective bargaining rights of state workers including police & firefighters. That is nearly twice the number of signatures required & proponents are certain that they have the necessary signatures from each of OHIO's 88 counties to place the question on the state's ballot. They're equally certain that voters will overturn the unjust law.

OHIO's new law goes far beyond the law passed by the Wisconsin legislature & is extremely unpopular with OHIO voters.

Governor Kaisch continues to defend the union-busting law.
