Today 10:30 am State UE Rates Empty Today 10:30 am State UE Rates

The US states' UE rates for June 2011 will be released at 10:30 am--

http://www.bls.gov/web/laus/laumstrk.htm

The states' UE rates will be somewhat higher than the rates for May 2011. Several states are looking to this announcement of the rates to see whether or not they'll qualify for Tier IV & whether or not they'll qualify for the additional 7 weeks of EB.

Since last spring Pennsylvania suddenly lost Tier IV & the extra 7 weeks of EB supposedly due to 17,000 'jobs' added via fracking of Natural Gas. Yet many in PA still remain without f/t jobs all across the state.

I heard on the news today that Indiana's rate went back up but, I think they still don't qualify for the 6 weeks of EB anymore. Or, maybe it is Tier 4. I can't remember which one but, they get 93 weeks now.

Fracking of Natural Gas.... I have heard that it is destroying the environment and drinking water and possibly even causing earthquakes. Twisted Evil

I am so glad that my well is only 23' deep, it is above the layers that are ruined by fracking. Of course it is a pain in the ass in this drought...
