While I think all programs need cuts (mostly in the admin sector) the fact is these cuts I think will hurt everyone. I am NOT surprised the Dems gave in.

It's time for the American public to wake up. Does anyone realize what they put into the debt ceiling bill? They've created a "Super-Congress" and completely destroyed what was left of the Constitution. Of course, the mainstream media acts like it is just a committee but, all of the alternative media, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and all others, are screaming bloody murder. I believe the alternative media. They are not owned by the multinational corporations and banks that are behind all of this stuff and that have bought off our government like the mainstream media is.

Wall-Street does very much want for us to cut all spending on our people and raise all of the taxes on our people and not cut the corporate welfare spending or the wars or any of the stuff that only benefits them but, doing what they want is not what is good for the US. Doing everything that Wall-Street wants is what is destroying the US.

Yes, they are forcing our government to make all kinds of cuts but, only cuts to the things that are good for the general public and not the stuff that benefits them. The way I see it is with this downgrade, they are basically threatening our government with economic collapse unless they do exactly what they want. What's even worse about this is that doing what they want is what is causing economic collapse.
