What recession??? Its over says Obama!! We are on our way to a great recovery! I am being serious. he made a speech ton the KET and said this recession is well behind and the job numbers are great.. I say this is a very false high and the bottom will fall out in a couple of months! It will not be a sustained recovery!

Unfortunately, I'm feeling the same as 1208 on this subject. What concerns me is the fallout from laying off untold numbers of government workers. That can't improve the economic status of this country.

Re: Struggling through the recession; Letters from Vermont.
Every month is is the same thing - trying to stretch money that does not even begin to cover all of my bills. At some point unless I get a job, I won't be able to cover everything and something is going to be turned off.
The thing is that I have cut back all unnecessary spending. The things I have now I must keep in order to look for work and, when I get a job, go to work.
It is so depressing and stressful not being able to make ends meet every month.
