The American People Have Spoken
The day after the elections in November, 2009 all we heard was the American People have spoken and they want jobs and an improved economy. Jobs is our #1 Focus.
Anyone remember this????? Well, after many mind numbing days of CSPAN2, has anyone come to the floor with a Jobs Bill. Have any of our elected officials in the House or Senate brought forth legislation introducing this??? Have any of our elected officials on the Federal or State level met with companies (small or large) and discussed hiring and working with these people on re-entry programs for the unemployed???
We have tax cuts, which are supposed to be creating jobs, did any of our brainy legislators reach out to those who received them for a commitment on creating jobs???
I think we have many letter to send on this subject. As of today, the Unemployed are lazy, any union member is greedy, the teachers are awful, the police and firemen are overpaid (according to our newly elected officials) who's next?? They are running out of people to blame for this fiasco, and yet . . . still no job creation.
Please continue to write and push for passage of HR589, but include a sentence or two on job creation because 14 weeks goes very quickly.
WHERE ARE THE JOBS????? Now, Mr. Speaker, this American Person has spoken!

We need a comprehensive bill that will help create jobs and help the people without jobs until those jobs are created
