Gingrich: Love of country contributed to affair

Post by elvis44102 on Wed Mar 09, 2011 7:16 pm

Newt Gingrich still has some political power within the republican party..(although pindits say he is just to dammaged to win)....

But seriously folks...WHAT is wrong with these political (bigR) types?????
When I first read the headline I almost erupted in laughter.....
You had an affairs sir because you love your country to much????
Please define LOVE-of-Country to us Sir..

""The twice-divorced former U.S. House speaker has admitted he had an affair with Callista, a former congressional aide, while married to his second wife. It happened at the same time he was attacking President Bill Clinton for his relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.""

What does this mean?

"There's no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate," Gingrich said.

Gingrich: Love of country contributed to affair

"The interview with the Christian broadcaster comes as Gingrich gears up for a likely presidential run. He has been courting religious and social conservatives who would be critical in a GOP primary."

I saw that piece of craziness earlier on Huffington Post. What a wingnut. As he judges gays, women who have abortons, illegal immigrants, he apparently fell into womanizing and three divorces because he spent too much time caring deeply about country.

Seriously though, he's got to throw the right a reason for the first lady being the third lady if he were to win the presidentcy. Personally, I don't care how many times he's been married - the fact that this hypocrite even thinks he has a chance to win the presidentcy is the scariest thing of all.

What do you think folks? Do you think the Republicans will buy it?

Its unbelievable to me to think that you're right, Jane. One good thing about it is I believe it will bring the Democrats and youth out in enmasse to vote.

Those religous and social conservatives Gingrich is courting can probably relate, and sympathize with his pathetic excuses.
I'm sure he will be admired for his "passionate" dedication to his country Wink ... and his humility - his profound insight...

I'm hoping you are correct, but the new voter laws going through it will be more difficult for the college students to vote.

Partisan voting-rights clashes heat up

"New Hampshire's new Republican state House speaker is clear about what he thinks of college students and how they vote. They're "foolish," Speaker William O'Brien said in a recent speech to a tea-party group.

"Voting as a liberal. That's what kids do," he added, his comments taped by a state Democratic Party staffer and posted on YouTube. Students lack "life experience," and "they just vote their feelings.""

Mr Gingrich was mostly in the city (washington) when he was having this love affair with the country....

When Mr Gingrich goes about campaigning in some of the more rural areas of the country.....

Just as a heads-up...ALL you Farmers better do a head count on all your livestock...as we see Mr. Gingrich's Passion for his country may get the best of him again...

I can see the headlines Politican overcome by LOVE abducts goat...

Huckabee's another wingnut. Fox News really knows how to grow them.
He believes the stimulus "planted the seeds" for death panels and that
you can't separate religion from politics. Just what we need.

Typically when I see such names in titles, I don't waste my time.

But I went ahead and read - he's not worth an exhalation.
