Online site pairs employers with veterans
WASHINGTON D.C. - Senator Charles Schumer is backing an online campaign to help veterans find jobs.
The senator is unveiling a campaign to connect unemployed veterans from Upstate New York with area businesses via the Internet.
He is encouraging businesses to post job listings on the Employer
Partnership of the Armed Forces website. Currently only 37 businesses
partner with the site for the more than 50,000 estimated jobless
veterans in New York State.

- was created by Lt. Gen. Jack Stultz, Chief, Army Reserve and lists
jobs nationwide by employers seeking veterans often linked to the
skills they learned in the service.
