Thanks again to ET for sending this to me.
4.1 Million Jobless: GOP Finds Revolt on Unemployment Benefits Share
"House Ways and Means Chair Dave Camp was palnning to bring a “jobs” bill to the floor next week that would have “given states flexibility” with $31 billion in federal unemployment aid. Giving states “flexibility” really means that governors could have used the mone for something other than providing unemployment benefits to the unemployed. Then, suddenly, yesterday there was a delay. The legislation was suddenly removed from the calendar for consideration. Now we know why."

I have been faxing Dave Camp and the house ways and means committee every day, sometimes twice a day. It probably didnt mean anything to Camp but it made me feel good.
I am so angry at our government right now that I am letting them know.
Now after reading they pulled HR 1745 I feel all of us have really made a difference. Maybe the Republicans are starting to get it. I think they are going to have to do something for us now.

I have been calling and leaving my name at the Camp's office numerous times. I thought it didn't make a difference but it looks like we made it happen. Too bad H.R. 589 is just sitting in the H&M Committee.
