Info of various agencies to help the unemployed plus info about a Rally on Sept. 5th in WA or your hometown
Received yesterday this email from Pam Sexton which I would like to share.
Those of us who believe that working Americans deserve a voice in our government need to stand up. A rally is being planned in DC, your state capitol or your hometown, September 5th. We may not have all the wealth, but we do have the numbers. Stand Up! We the People, not the corporations!
All who would like to help with planning this event are invited to join the group on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_212821492065427

How are the funds awarded?
- Based on a grant formula.

Re: Info of various agencies to help the unemployed plus info about a Rally on Sept. 5th in WA or your hometown
Received another email from Pam Sexton about HUD. Please watch the video about HUD's assistance.
HUD issues $1 BILLION dollars for a FEW struggling homeowners to avoid foreclosure. This is open to people who are at least 3 months behind on their mortgages due to loss of income. Pre-applications are being taken now. Recipients will be selected by lottery.
If you have the means, DO NOT stop paying your mortgage for the slight chance of getting this loan.
EHLPconsumers.asp www.nw.org
HUD anticipates a high amount of demand for EHLP assistance. In order to ensure that program funds are made available in a fair and impartial manner, homeowners interested in applying must first complete a Pre-Applicant Screening Worksheet (see below). If there are more potentially eligible homeowners...
Whether or not you qualify for this loan, watch this video: http://tbwsdailyshow.com/2011/06/21/another-hud-barney-frank-disaster-on-the-way/#comment-34950 and leave comments. Congress supposedly visits that video blog to get a pulse about their legislation.
