Democrats Turn 'Where Are the Jobs?' Chant on Republicans

Boehner says 800,000 laid-off federal workers will 'find their way into private jobs' as the economy improves.
Oh really??
With 15 million unemployed, 11 million underemployed, & more than 150,000 young people becoming of working age each month.....Mr. Speaker must be privy to some secret news about 30+ million new jobs being created in the private sector over the next year or two.....maybe if Boehner's good pals the corporations would stop shipping more & more American jobs overseas every single second of the day then our country wouldn't be in this mess.

I wish Boehner's unemployed brothers and other members of his family would gang up on him. He is so clueless!

He's awful. I didn't like Pelosi but he's worse. Besides, he's a sexist and sexist men rank low on people I respect.

He was drunk when he said that. Happens with him all the time. Otherwise what he is saying is that Obama has improved the economy despite Boehner and company's best efforts to collapse it the rest of the way.

I have checked out his record and he's awful. I just hope people wake up before 2012 because the idea of a Republican Congress and president scares me as it should all of us.
I am NOT a Democrat btw, just someone sick of this.

Just wait, he might decide to run for president. Between his sexism and anti-union, he is poised to set our country back about 200 years.

Boehner may run but he can't win.....the US has only had 1 House Speaker become President & that was way back in 1845--James K. Polk.503Depressed wrote:Just wait, he might decide to run for president. Between his sexism and anti-union, he is poised to set our country back about 200 years.

In my opinion, the republicans really don't care if people lose their jobs.
"Alexander J. Field, an economics professor
at Santa Clara University, said he had "very little sympathy for the
sentiments" in the letter Boehner forwarded. Spending cuts should be
pursued when economies are strong, not weak, he said, and the House
Republicans' agenda would probably increase unemployment."
"The liberal Economic Policy Institute says
that overall, the House GOP plan "would likely result in job losses of
just over 800,000.""

Well any fool would know that repubs are not in control on getting their bills passed because of the senate. so we are in a stale mate. So how can you judge them until they can get bills enacted and then judge them! But I also do not want a cop out for the dems. after they have passed enough bills for jobs and nothing yet! looks pretty foolish to ask repubs. where are the jobs when Obama's plans are in force are present. But I also get it, what about the tax credits. Well ok,, But isn't obama also responsible since he pleaded and turned against the dems. for this bill also??? Just saying! He is also accountable because he pleaded for the tax credit passage and said it will create MILLIONS of jobs! Goes both ways!!! but I am not defending the repubs. at all. But holding all who supported tax credits accountable, and that includes Obama... IMO!
