They're basically saying that if all of the countries don't implement genocidal austerity measures right now then there will be a crisis. There is already a crisis and they had a big hand in creating it. The IMF is evil and we don't owe all of that money for the fraudulent derivatives and our safety nets have plenty of funding from our tax dollars. They just want to steal all of the tax dollars and not let the countries spend any of our own money on our own people.

Our financial meltdown was caused by the OTC derivatives market, the LTCM ( Long Term Capital Management ) derivatives market ( aka: Hedge Funds ) and the Sub-prime Lending Market. This is Global in scope, not only a U.S phenomenon. These all collapsed as Economists financial models were not working, and chose to ignore this, saying that the Market will correct itself. It didn't and collapsed. The big problem is that the Central Banks were instrumental in betting against and insuring themselves, and a lot off them made a killing off of the collapse!!! The IMF does have a hand in it, they are funded by the Central Banks who have control. The Greedy are getting more Greedier !
