Rules Violation???

So Amendment 221 will not be allowed to have a vote because it supposedly 'changes existing law'??

But Boehner gets to 'change existing law' by having an earmark to help his areas of Ohio in the bill??

House (Freshman Congresspeople) voted to kill F-35 engine pork but yes Speaker Boehner is a hypocrite who does whatever he wants to and lies all the time.

Barbara Lee's section begins on the video around 12:45. I contacted her office
this morning. They clarified that there was both a bill and an
amendment for H.R. 589. With the amendment being ruled against
procedurally, the only hope we have is to still get the bill shoved out
of Ways and Means and onto floor debate.

One further comment--on the video, don't miss Rep. Jerry Nadler's (D-NY, 8th
District) amazing comments starting around 13:00. That man was so
spot-on it's not even funny.

Denny Rehberg has a Facebook page. He's the rep who rose to challenge the amendment.

I just posted "Al Didn't Make It" on his page. It somehow seems just as appropriate today as it did when I wrote it SEVERAL months ago. I hope he reads it, cuz I'm talkin' 'bout politicians like HIM, who think it's perfectly fine that people keep suffering, just as long as they can find a way to shut something down.
