We have to support this, and lobby for this, with all our energy. I've been active with emails, faxes, emails and calls and calls and calls. End of the rope here, we need help. Why aren't they moving faster for us? Don't they see it? Tell them your stories!elvis44102 wrote:by mrgolf Today at 6:35

IMO his should be the hottest topic on the board right now. This is the movement I have been waiting for.
Agreed...
Waiting for the Republican Responce....should be this week...
They have said all along they support benefits if they are paid for well...nows the time...the
Boehner probably has that much cash wrapped in foil in his freezzer..
Both parties agreed to the Twoweek extension before the Gov shuts down again..
They already have more cuts lined up...(as well as a 2 percent INCREASE in military spending) its time to re-introduce 589 as a PAID for add-on to the next budget legislation...at the very least
The rules violation that the lone republican objected to was because of the increased cost... that objection would be eliminated if its paid for..

Re: House Dems Open To Compromise On 99ers Bill
Okay why is it that every time we get a small amount of momentum behind helping us, something happens to take the spot light away from us to get a bill up and running.... Remembering Haiti earthquake, Gulf oil spill, Building a mosque, Wiki drama, Tuscon shooting, Unrest in the middle east, Crazy GOP governors going crazy. We can't seem to catch a break.... Just pass the damn bill already....

Maybe some 99er should do copious amounts of drugs and alcohol, live with porno stars, call people nasty names in the press, and go in and out of rehab...
Neh, I guess it only works for "celebrities"...
