Sounds like their advanced warning system needs a little work -- it went off on his phone just as the earthquake began and really didn't give any advanced notice. I hope that, if they finally establish one here in CA, it will work better than that.

Just had another explosion at reactor #2. They are checking to see if the container has been breeched

So much for Glenn Beck's demonstration with pots & pans today insisting that there would never be a breach.....

Glen Beck is a pompous ASSPhillymg wrote:'You're too dumb to live anyway' --Glenn Beck 3/14/11
Beck wasn't laughing when he said it.....what's cruel & inhuman is that in the context of a possible nuclear disaster in Japan.....he's basically saying that as far as he's concerned if the Japanese people don't agree with his view that there's nothing to worry about then they should all just die. Men, women, children, babies.....he could care less.

A 4th reactor is on fire. A report on Huffpost says that radiation is spewing from the damaged reactors. Officials are telling people to stay inside or they will get radiation sickness. It just gets worse.

The so called experts say the cloud will all but dissipate before getting to US. But don't say much about the water. Of course I don't believe anyone anymore they all lie.

Today, for the first time I saw a news report that speculated if Japan was downplaying the disaster. I've wondered the same thing myself.

I definitely think Japan is not telling all about how bad the radiation problem is.
People in Hawaii, Alaska and California, I would be very worried about the radiation that may be headed your way.
I have to wonder where is Obama? He seems very quiet lately. Now is the time we need a real leader.

I live about 6.5 hours by car from the ocean. Hopefully, the radiation will dissipate before reaching the shores of the USA.

I have wondered the same thing, knarf. Planted the biggest garden ever this year. Not a fan of glow in the dark veggies, myself.

You take any one of the three, 9.0 earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown and you have a real problem. Have them all together a you have a huge disaster.

Beck got the pots & pans out again today.....trying to show that the nuclear disaster in Japan isn't a disaster. Now that there's probably been a breach he's moved along to 'it hasn't killed anybody.' He even said that Chernoble wasn't really a disaster because only a few thousand people have died as a result.

People actually believe this man enough to watch and listen to his programs? Something is seriously wrong here.

MSNBC--
At the Fukushima plant 70 employees have volunteered to remain behind & do the necessary work.....knowing that they will probably die as a result of their exposure to radiation. But this isn't enough manpower to get the job done. The company has begun asking retired workers to volunteer to come in & help. These volunteers are true heroes.
The company executives not so much. Apparently this same company has been caught several times before lying to the government and the public about problems with their reactors.
