NOAA is not issuing yet, but that Dr. on MSNBC said that they should at least put the west coast on a watch... I don't think we will get anything big maybe just a few inches or a foot. Guess I won't be sleeping tonight...

In Phuket, Thailand 100s of people were killed when they were running away from the wave and sought refuge in an underground mall

Here is large police boat that I took a photo of that was pushed over a mile away from shore near Phuket. They left it there as a memorial

Katrina pushed casino barges and cruise ships across hwy 90 so far inland they could not move them afterwards. One is a souvenier shop now, very creepy.

Re: Japan Earthquake: 8.9 Magnitude Earthquake Hits, 19-Feet High Tsunami Feared
My family survived Katrina. Every single blood relative had major damage or total loss of home, but we all survived. We were lucky.
But everyone in the area is forever damaged............can't explain it-just damaged.
When the country you love and defend lets you down during a time like that it leaves a mark on the soul.

Not being sarcastic but the US would never respond quickly enough to help, IMO.
