Those kids can stay at home with mom and dad (hopefully employed) and let the unemployed - who have responsibilities and don't have parents to go home to - take those jobs.

Re: College Job Market Shows Impressive Turnaround
I was about to apply for a Federal job and decided to look at the questions on the application.
This job is asking questions about high school.
This is definitely a position for someone out of high school with some experience or someone with a Bachelor's only degree.
If I apply they are probably going to because clearly I am 'over-qualified' for the position because of my education and experience (that is somewhat related).
I think that I'll apply for the heck of it and see what happens.
Oh yeah, here is one of the questions:

6. In the past three years, my primary work experience has been in:
A. = professional or administrative occupations
B. = clerical or sales occupations
C. = service occupations
D. = trades or labor occupations
E. = not employed in the past three years

I found 2 typos in the announcement and haven't scrutinized the rest.
Typos are unacceptable at this level.

Lol for one job I found.....I had to list every place I've lived since 1975 & every person I've lived with since that year. Holey cow. In that year I was still living at home with my parents, brothers, & sisters--but I had to put their names down too!! During college & even after that I lived in apartments where a whole lotta guys (& their girlfriends) came & went all the time.....how the heck was I supposed to remember all their names--let alone their current addresses?? Well I did the best I could.
