This is turning into a STABENOW MOMENT REWIND!! What is the purpose of calling and supposedly logging in calls from the Chairman??? Its sounds like more stringing the 99ers along just as Senator Stabenow did last year. Its a damn shame the 99ers have no major advocacy group because nelp.org is now in bed with the HR 4213 recipients so here we go again in 2011 just as 2010.

I agree 1000%. Like unemployed1208 this is a front.
it's been a year and a half for me.
They only address the issue once a month, while at the same time,
it seems like this site makes lite of the situation.
Just say no, and stop with these jerk@$$ antics and be done with it.
To those who really are in the know with this situation,
just help us get it passed please...
I'm personally going through hell from shootings to fires.

OK. This is great news. I would like to know what was said at the meeting. So, we have video clip of Rep. Lee handing the paperwork to Daley. I hope she will give us some information or comments about the meeting.

It gathers dust in a GOP dominated committee while such serious matters as defunding NPR consume the House's time and energy.

Don't forget the legislation to redefine Rape! I can't believe these yahoos are shooting themselves in the foot just as they did when they had both houses during Bush/Cheney. Going after Planned Parenthood, Medicare and AARP all because of that Healthcare Reform MMA Championship fight when they insisted it was dead but got a life support rebirth! They haven't said anything about introducing a Jobs Bill among all the chit that taking place in this country but now its clear, they want this economy to sink to hell and the unemployed with it so President Obama doesn't get re-elected!

We definitely need a Rapists' Bill of Rights, and let's get tough on those crooks at AARP. No need to regulate Wall Street. They've always done a fine job of self-policing.

I do believe that is the GOP plan, and they don't care one bit who gets hurt in the process, afterall, the ones most affected are the poor, low and middle income folks. Their corporate masters will still be swimming in cash and will be able to fund the R's candidates at next election go-around.

As I said somewhere else i can't remember which one! But If Lee does end up meeting with Pres. next week. It will be very telling!!!.. What she says and then tell us what president says. and also is 589 going somewhere and with Obama's support. I think I can read the writing .... Pres. says to her about 589..... " I am concerned about jobs and economy and I am doing everything I can to create jobs and keep the economy growing.. NOTHING about 589... Lee is at least still discussing and making some effort. give her that! But how hard will she fight!!!!!and the CBC and others!!!
