Got a temp job!!

Need2B asked me to repost this info here.....

Today after an interview I got a temp job that starts in about a week & goes for 90 days.....it's only p/t but it's something. Need a more reliable car b/c part of the job involves driving--hopefully my Pops can help me out. Today my gf & I sold our junk car for $500 so that's a start. Looking for a used car this weekend.


By the beginning of Apr. I'll know whether or not I got the permanent f/t job that I interviewed for a few weeks ago that starts in June--taking a required test for 2 hrs. on Sat. Also another test for 4 hrs. at the end of Mar.


Btw if Worrywart is ever around.....thanx Worrywart for all your great interview suggestions back on UFF1. Both interviews asked me the 'Tell me something about yourself' question & thanx to you I was prepared with my story about how several crucial moments of my life directly led up to my wanting to come to work for them!!

Lol forgot to say that the temp job pays $11.50/hr. for 19.5 hrs/week.

On the bright side, it'll give you time to study for your test. Plus, you'll be able to put it on your resume and it may help when you look for other full-time positions until you hear something in April.

It will feel good to be out in the workforce again, I'm sure.

Absolutely it'll be great to be working again.....& with kids so I'll be helping young minds to grow. Can't believe my last temp work was almost 6 months ago. I already feel like a new man.
