This is an incredible speech! His words should be repeated frequently. I must have left before this started and am pretty disappointed that I missed it.

When he talks about the people "who through no fault of their own," find themselves now to be "the least among us" - he's talking specifically about the unemployed (imo).
That speach wasn't just for union workers, but for ALL workers - especially the jobless and underemployed. If Wall St. & Corporate elites get their way in thier campaign to reduce wages, cut benefits and worker rights - joblessness & underemployment is what the vast majority of American workers will face.

Kat, I was thinking the same thing regarding his comments on the unemployed. He really hits the nail on the head with the entire speech.

I'm going to listen to it again - (thanks, Tresa, for giving Michael Moore's speach it's own thread!!) - great to start the day with that kind of honest inspiration!
I wish I could be in Madison (I lived there for 30 years and miss that energy) ... but I have to stay here to work my slave-wage job that doesn't even afford me the extra expense of gas to drive the 150 miles to participate in the protest!!
Gotta start the movement where I live, I guess. (hint,hint)
