New Company Promises 100 High-Paying Jobs
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- A local company plans to bring more than 100 high-paying jobs to Albuquerque.The
company, MSR-FSR, provides managing engineer services to both local and
global businesses. Its clients include Intel and Schott Solar.“If
you talk to most business analysts, they’ll tell you Albuquerque is not
the place to be.
n our view, it is the place to be and we’ve invested
our money in it,” MSR-FSR Chief Executive Officer Steve Cox said.Cox said that $1.2 million has been invested so far, and he expects to invest millions more.MSR-FSR will be located at Mesa del Sol. The company officially opens on Thursday.The company is planning to hire managers, highly-skilled engineers and technicians. Cox said he plans to hire locally.The jobs come at good time for the local economy, as several employers have announced layoffs or cutbacks recently.
