AT&T Will Hold Job Fair In Hartford Thursday To Fill 130 New Positions In Connecticut


AT&T said Monday it will hold a job fair Thursday in Hartford to fill more than 130 positions in Connecticut.Open
positions include installation technicians for the company's U-verse TV
and high-speed Internet service, retail sales and sales management,
network repair technicians, door-to-door sales and service
representatives. The majority of the positions are union-represented.
AT&T offers competitive wages and benefits.
"These are good
jobs with wages and benefits that are among the best in the nation,"
said Rodney Smith, president of AT&T Connecticut. "We seek
individuals equally passionate about customer service and new
technologies who want a career with one of the most innovative companies
in the region."
Bill Henderson, president of the Communications
Workers of America Local 1298 said, "It's good to see AT&T creating
good union jobs with good pay and benefits, right here in Connecticut.
