When a state falls below 8.5% for 3 mos in a row.....Tier IV is gone (6 wks).

When a state falls below 8% for 3 mos in a row.....HUB is gone (7 wks).

Passing HR589 is becoming more & more crucial for more & more states!!

Our country's nowhere near the 4% U3 rate we had back in the year 2000.....

http://portalseven.com/employment/unemployment_rate.jsp

Always before when the U3 rate was over 7.2% UI benefits have been extended.

I heard on the local news today that Indiana just lost Tier IV. No more 99ers in Indiana. Now they will be 93ers.

This is ridiculous. Passing HR589 must be done like YESTERDAY. I don't understand why everyone is stalling on this. More states are not even eligible to get the full 99 weeks, it makes sense for them to EXTEND Tier 1, add the additional 13 weeks, and be done with it. It's insulting that this bill has been sitting collecting dust since February and we are in the middle of June.

Mark my words, July Unemployment rate will jump right back UP.

Rep. Tim Ryan (OH-17) became the 83rd co-sponsor of HR589 on 6/13/11.

http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:HR00589:@@@P

Sadly the official number is 82 co-sponsors now that Weiner's gone but hopefully more House members will join the good fight. That's been the pattern so far.....more keep adding their names as time passes.

WHERE IS REP. NANCY PELOSI & WHY WON'T SHE CO-SPONSOR??
