It was job gains by men that fueled January's steep decline in the national unemployment rate from 9.4 percent to 9 percent.
Considering that the second sentence is a completely not true, I'm not sure if I can believe anything in this article or not. It is a well known fact that the reason the unemployment rate dropped in Jan. (and Dec.) was not because of job creation at all. It was only because of the increase in "discouraged workers" supposedly leaving the workforce.
If there is truth to this article, it is very scary.
