I HIGHLY recommend checking and placing credit freezes on your credit files with Equifax, TransUnion and Experian (I did this 2 years ago). I also learned about a new agency called Innovis. I ordered my credit report from them, and they had INCORRECT info about me that I had removed. I also froze my credit file with them. You can get info about them here:
